Research and Development

Nomura Micro Science, as a group, is working on research and development of water treatment technology with “theoretical pure water” at the top from the viewpoint of how to effectively utilize limited water not only as an indispensable resource for our lives, but also as a resource that supports industry. Our Group’s technologies have been cultivated through its own research and development and the introduction of technologies through alliances with various external companies etc., and we have created various new technologies through our own research and development based on analytical technologies. Through the creation of such new technologies, we supply ultrapure water system that conforms to the technological innovations of semiconductor and flat-panel display manufacturers, which are significantly getting finer and more sophisticated.

In recent years, the world’s most advanced ultrapure water has been used in the electronics industry, especially in the semiconductor Industry in Korea. In order to respond to that technical level as well as to respond to more advanced technical requirements, we have established a research and development facility in the vicinity of a state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturer to promptly respond to research issues required by customers and work on further technological development of our Group.

Water quality analysis is indispensable for the design and maintenance of water treatment systems. We have advanced analysis technology to analyze ultratrace amount of impurities included in ultrapure water up to extremely low level.
In addition, we also carry out analysis on contract in response to customer needs by utilizing our know-how in trace analysis.
