Ion Exchange Systems

Ion exchange resins are classified as cation exchange resins that remove cations in the water and anion exchange resins that remove anion in the water. These resins are then subclassified into strong or weak types respectively.
Depending on the regeneration method, there are various types of systems such as countercurrent flow regeneration type, cocurrent flow regeneration type, mixed bed tower type, multi-layered bed type which is layered with strong type and weak type resins (EXCEL BED®), packed bed type which is filled up with resins (DUOLITE FLOW), and ion exchange system for highly pure water production which consists of 2B3T+ Cation polisher (EXCEL RIJION FOUR). Depending on feed water quality, we will provide the most suitable ion exchange system to make the most efficient use of each ion exchange resin.
