Obtained approval as AEO Exporter under the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Program

Nomura Micro Science Co., Ltd. was approved by the Director-General of Yokohama Customs as an AEO Exporter under the AEO Program on December 25, 2018.

This is a program under which Customs approves and certifies businesses that have systems for cargo security management and legal compliance, and it provides measures to ease and simplify customs procedures.

For exporters who have systems in place for cargo security management and legal compliance, customs screenings and inspections are reduced, export cargos can be shipped (loaded) quickly and smoothly, and export declarations can be made without bringing cargo into the bonded area, making it possible to obtain an export license in one’s own warehouse, etc., or make export declarations using the liberalization of Customs offices to which export declarations are submitted.
